Flame retardant tarpaulin materials are polyester materials coated with PVC with the addition of flame retardant. They are certified by the Building Research Institute. They are varnished on one side with a glossy finish and are UV stabilized. Acrylic varnish protects them against dirt and moisture. They are resistant to external forces and weather conditions.
